Exploring the needs, supply and demand and future growth with the business case for utilising the synthetic surface technology compared to natural or hybrid surfaces.

The following projects have been completed:

• Monash City Council, Vic – Monash City Synthetic Sports Surfaces Strategy, 2016 – Exploration of supply and demand and marketing of hybrid and synthetic turf technology solutions to meet current and growth needs for specific sports.
• The Hills Shire Council, NSW – Synthetic Surfaces Feasibility Study, 2016 – Assessment of key sports fields in each geographical area against specific sport’s needs, together with business case for top three sites.
• Rockdale Council, NSW – Rockdale Synthetic Surfaces Business Case, 2015 – Consultation with key stakeholders and development of ranking for various parts of City against specific sport’s needs.

• Central Coast Football (Association), NSW – 2016 • Lead consultant for the D&C conversion of their premier natural turf field in to a FIFA Quality/FIFA 1 Star. Coordinated other specialist advisors, ran the procurement process, conducted evaluation, specified design and performance surface parameters. (Project value $1.5m)
• Rockdale City Council – Bicentennial Park, NSW – 2016/17 • Lead consultant for the D&C conversion of Bicentennial Part stadium grass field into a FIFA Quality standard field. Coordinated the specialist advisors, including geotech engineers, sports engineers and facilitated the Tender Evaluation Process. (Project Value c. $2m.)
• Woollahra Council – Woollahra No 1 Oval, NSW – 2016 • Lead consultant for D&C conversion of No 1 Field into Rugby Union Regulation 22 field, replacing natural turf field. Coordinated the specialist consultancy team of geotech, engineering and facilitated the Tender Evaluation Process for Council. (Project value $1.7m)
• Willoughby City Council – Chatswood High School, NSW – 2014-2016 • Lead consultant for the D&C conversion of natural turf field to synthetic football (FIFA Quality/FIFA 1 Star) with synthetic cricket wicket, cricket nets and hard court surfaces. (Project value tbc)
• Willoughby City Council – Gore Hill Park Oval, NSW – 2015-2017 • Technical consultant for the sports performance surface for an AFL oval to AFL/Cricket Australia standards. Part of a multi-disciplinary team for large project. (Value $8.5m)
• Manningham City Council – Park Reserve, Vic – 2015/16 • Lead consultant for the D&C conversion of natural turf field into a FIFA 1 Star/FIFA Quality field. Development of specification, tender schedules and conducted independent evaluation. (Project value $1.4m)
• Blacktown City Council – NRL Field Build, NSW – 2016 • Lead consultant for the D&C new build of a Rugby League Field to NRL Community Standards, including performance specification, tender evaluation and liaison with stakeholders. (Project value $1.6m)
• Ryde City Council – ELS Hall, NSW – 2014-2016 • Lead consultant for the D&C design and procurement of an AFL/Cricket Australia Community Standard field with FIFA 1 Star/ FIFA Quality Football surface. Project management and procurement support including development of schedules, specification and Tender Evaluation Matrix. Provision of independent Tender Review and facilitation of Tender Evaluation Panel. (Project value $3.1m)
• Ryde City Council – Christie Park, NSW – 2015-2016 • Lead consultant for a D&C procurement of two FIFA Quality/ FIFA 1 Star fields to replace current grass fields. Development of specification for performance surface, tender evaluation matrix and schedules. Facilitation of evaluation process for Council. (Project value $3.2m)
• Hornsby City Council – West Epping, NSW – 2014-2015 • Technical consultant for D&C for AFL oval, cricket wicket and two softball fields, including in independent tender evaluation. (Project value $2.8m)
• Hornsby City Council – Pennant Hills Park, NSW – 2014-15 • Lead consultant for a D&C/detailed design and procurement support for a FIFA 1 Star football field. (Project value $2.0m)
• Centennial Parkland Trust – Moore Park Synthetic Field, NSW – 2015 • Technical consultant for conversion of netball courts into Australia’s first certified multi-sports field including Football codes of Rugby Union (Regulation 22), Rugby League (NRL Community standard), Football (FIFA 1 Star) for 11 and 5-a-side. Developed specification, tender schedules, conducted evaluation process with Tender Evaluation Panel. (Project value $3.0m)
• Waverley City Council – Waverley No 2 Field, NSW – 2014-15 • Lead consultant for conversion of natural grass Rugby Field into a Rugby (Regulation 22) and Football field. Development of D&C specification, schedules and conducted independent Tender Evaluation. (Project value $1.6m)
• City of Monash – Jack Edwards Reserve, Vic – 2014-15 • Lead consultant for D&C conversion of natural field into a Football field to FIFA 1 Star standard and two small 5-a-side game fields. (Project value $1.5m)
• ACT Government – Melrose School, ACT – 2016 • Technical consultant for D&C new build of natural football field into synthetic football field to FIFA 1 Star quality level. (Project value $4.9m)

• North Sydney Council – Cammeray Oval, NSW – 2014 • Lead consultant on the D&C conversion of natural football field into a FIFA 1 Star quality field, including writing of specification, tender schedules and independent evaluation as part of Council’s Evaluation Strategy. (Project value $1.5m)
• Campbelltown City Council – Lynwood Park, NSW – 2014-15 • Lead consultant on the D&C conversion of their natural turf field into a FIFA 1 Star Quality field including development of specification, tender schedules and independent evaluation as part of Councils evaluation strategy. (Project value $1.4m)
• Cardinia Shire Council – Henry Road Reserve, Vic – 2015 • Lead consultant on the D&C development of a new field into a FIFA 1 Star Quality field including development of specification, tender schedules and independent evaluation as part of Council evaluation strategy. (Project value $1.5m)
• Lane Cove Council – Blacktown Park Development, NSW – 2014 • Lead consultant on a D&C conversion of two grass fields to a multi-use synthetic sports oval, including two Rugby (Regulation 22), Football (FIFA 1 Star) fields with a movable cricket wicket between rectangular fields and AFL oval around field to AFL/Cricket Australia community standards. (Project value $8.5m)
• Murdoch University – Procurement of two ovals, WA – 2016-17 • Technical consultant on the design and construct for two new football fields that will be used for football and to FIFA Quality standards. Development of specification, RFT schedules and will provide evaluation support. (Project value expected 3.0m)
• Kingston City Council – Kingston Heath, Vic – 2010 • Lead consultant on D&C conversion of two natural fields to synthetic FIFA 1 Star and FIFA 2 Star fields. (Project value $3.2m)
• Ballarat City Council – Morshead Park, Vic – 2010-11 • Lead consultant on new build of synthetic Football field to FIFA 1 Star quality field.
• Marrickville Council – Arlington Reserve Project, NSW – 2014 • Lead consultant on the D&C conversion of the natural turf into a FIFA 1 Star synthetic football field with warm-up areas. Development of specification, tender schedules and conducted independent evaluation as part of Council’s evaluation strategy. (Project value $1.6m)
• North Sydney Council – Anderson Street Reserve, NSW – 2015-16 • Lead consultant for the D&C conversion of parkland into synthetic sports field, including design, specification and tender schedules. (Project value tbc)
• Pittwater City Council – Narrabeen High School, NSW – 2012 • Lead consultant on the design and construct of a synthetic multi-sport field for AFL, Rugby and Football including development of the specification, tender schedules and facilitated the tender evaluation process. (Project value $1.6m)
• Randwick City Council – Heffron Park, NSW – 2015 • Lead consultant on the D&C development of a Football field, including design, specification development, tender schedules and facilitated the evaluation process. (Project value $1.4m)
• Randwick City Council – Latham Park, NSW – 2016 • Lead consultant on the D&C development of a Rugby field to Regulation 22 including design, specification development, tender schedules and facilitated the evaluation process. (Project value $1.6m)
• Sutherland Shire Council – Kareela Synthetic Turf Procurement, NSW – 2014 • Lead consultant for the D&C procurement of two Football (FIFA 1 Star) fields and cricket wicket, including design, specification development, tender schedules and independent evaluation. (Project value $2.9m)
• City of Swan – Ellenbrook Synthetic Fields, WA – 2013-16 • Technical consultant for EOI, RFT process and support for tender evaluation post-tender. (Project value ≥ $10m)
• Warringah City Council – Cromer Park, NSW – 2011-12 • Technical consultant for D&C procurement of Football field with Council. (Project value $1.2m)
• Whittlesea City Council – Harvest Home, Vic – 2007-08 • Technical consultant for D&C procurement of Football field to FIFA 1 Star field. (Project value c. $1m)

• Darebin City Council – DISC Field Review, Vic – 2016 • Completed an independent assessment of three Football (soccer) fields at Darebin International Sports Complex on the condition of the current surfaces.
• Football Federation Victoria – DISC Field Review, Vic – 2014 • Completed an independent assessment of three Football fields at DISC on the condition of the current surfaces.
• Hawthorn Malvern Hockey Club – Hockey Centre Field Review, Vic – 2015 • Independent assessment of two fields and estimated life expectancy.
• Moreton Bay Regional Council – Redcliffe Hockey Surface Review, Qld – 2014 • Review of condition of field, review of financial strategy and sage to develop an integrated strategy for club and Council to ensure sustainability.

• Stonnington City Council – Stakeholder Consultation, Vic – 2016 • Supported Council during stakeholder consultation program as a technical consultant for the introduction of synthetic sports surface technology at a park/reserve.
• Veneto Club – Field No 1 Review, Vic – 2016 • Review of condition of fields including the impact of maintenance on the fields.
• Wyndham City Council – Grange Synthetic Field Review, Vic – 2016 • Review of surface and maintenance together with estimated life expectancy.
